Bambino di 3 anni aggredito da undici esemplari, la madre lo aveva sporto oltre le barriere
WASHINGHTON – Orrore allo zoo di Pittsburgh. Un bimbo di soli tre anni è caduto nella gabbia di 11 licaoni (canidi africani) che lo hanno ucciso a morsi. La tragedia è avvenuta attorno alle 12 di domenica. I guardiani e la polizia, che ha ucciso uno dei licaoni, hanno tentato inutilmente di salvare il bimbo ma non c’è stato nulla da fare.
INCIDENTE INSOLITO – Secondo la stampa americana la madre si sarebbe sporta per consentire al bambino di vedere meglio i licaoni, facendo sedere il bambino sulla ringhiera. Il piccolo avrebbe perso l’equilibrio, cadendo da un’altezza di oltre 3 metri, venendo poi aggredito da 11 dei cani selvaggi. Le autorità, che non hanno rivelato il nome della madre o del bambino, ritengono «molto inusuale» l’incidente.
