Un danno che sfiora i cento milioni di euro tra fermo dei reparti, carotaggi e interventi all’impianto. E’ quello stimato dall’azienda chimica Miteni, che si è rivolta al Tribunale amministrativo regionale presentando il conto delle perdite che avrebbe subito e che potrebbe subire in futuro, legate alla questione Pfas. Destinatari del ricorso sono la Regione Veneto, la Provincia di Vicenza, l’Arpav, il Comune di Trissino, il Consorzio di bonifica Alta Pianura veneta e Alto Vicentino Servizi. In particolare, rivolgendosi al Tar, l’azienda contesta la necessità di eseguire caratterizzazioni su una maglia 10 metri per 10 metri, ed oltretutto in termini ristretti, come aveva già evidenziato in precedenza nel ricorso straordinario con istanza di misura cautelare rivolto al Presidente della Repubblica per annullare, di fatto, le decisioni prese dal Comitato tecnico, e poi ratificate in sede di Conferenza di Servizi, riguardo le modalità di bonifica dell’area su cui sorge l’impianto chimico a Trissino. Secondo i legali Luca Prati ed Alessandro Veronese, che rappresentano l’industria chimica, l’istituzione del Comitato tecnico ed i relativi atti approvati sono da annullare in quanto non ci sono norme di legge che ne prevedano l’istituzione. L’ammontare del risarcimento è di quelli da far tremare le ginocchia a qualsiasi controparte, ancor di più nel caso di un Comune piccolo come quello di Trissino. Ma l’Amministrazione comunale non si scompone. «Non ci facciamo certo intimorire. Siamo decisi – ha dichiarato il sindaco Davide Faccio – a proseguire sulla strada intrapresa. La salute dei cittadini per me viene prima di ogni altra cosa».
Ma come sono stati quantificati i danni subiti e quelli potenziali futuri da parte dei legali di Miteni? Poco più di 44 milioni di euro sono imputati ad una perdita di margine di contribuzione coincidente con la perdita di fatturato dovuta al fermo dei reparti. Altri 48 milioni derivano invece dalla necessità di dover abbattere alcuni edifici e rimuovere alcune parti degli impianti produttivi. Infine, poco meno di 4 milioni sono attribuiti a costi di manodopera ed altri 2,5 per effettuare i carotaggi. «Non devieremo – prosegue il sindaco Faccio – dalla strada intrapresa. Manterremo una linea di fermezza, nel rispetto delle parti, con l’obiettivo di dare una risposta a quanti sono stati coinvolti dalla contaminazione delle acque da pfas. Come ho già avuto modo di dichiarare in occasione del ricorso presentato al Presidente della Repubblica, riscontro che Miteni, dopo aver annunciato ampia collaborazione, all’atto pratico chiude le porte a più approfondite indagini. Non è il modo più appropriato per affrontare un tema importante come questo. La caratterizzazione è un passo fondamentale per ottenere quelle risposte che i cittadini giustamente devono ottenere». L’amministratore delegato di Miteni, Antonio Nardone, che ha sempre confermato piena collaborazione con enti ed istituzioni, ha già avuto modo di spiegare i motivi della contrarietà ad effettuare caratterizzazioni su una maglia dieci metri per dieci. «La nostra opposizione spiega l’amministratore delegato di Miteni – riguarda il fare indiscriminatamente 700 buchi in una maglia di dieci metri per dieci anche dove c’è evidenza che non vi è nessuna contaminazione della falda. Non c’è alcun senso nè logico ne scientifico. Così facendo si procura il fermo dello stabilimento per andare a cercare Pfas sotto edifici costruiti prima che i Pfas fossero prodotti».
