Le guardie zoofile Oipa (Organizzazione Internazionale Protezione Animali) di Pesaro Urbino hanno effettuato un controllo in un accampamento Rom di Pesaro per verificare lo stato di detenzione di tre cuccioli.
Uno dei cuccioli era, tra l’altro, già stato sfruttato nei giorni precedenti per impietosire i passanti durante la pratica dell’accattonaggio e le guardie zoofile avevano già effettuati 5 sequestri alle medesime persone da dicembre 2012 a oggi.
Durante il sopralluogo, durante il quale le guardie zoofile Oipa hanno chiesto il supporto sia della Polizia Municipale sia dei Carabinieri per le numerose minacce, sono state riscontrate condizioni di cattiva detenzione dei cuccioli, due dei quali avevano meno di due mesi di vita ed erano rinchiusi all’interno di un piccolo trasportino per gatti, mentre un terzo di circa tre mesi era legato ad un albero con un guinzaglio lungo circa un metro. Nonostante la temperatura torrida, gli animali non avevano né riparo dal sole né acqua a disposizione. I cuccioli sono stati sottoposti a sequestro e consegnati alla Asl veterinaria per gli accertamenti sul loro stato di salute.
I proprietari sono stati sanzionati per violazione del Regolamento Comunale di Pesaro che vieta l’accattonaggio con animali e per la violazione della legge 201/2010 che regola l’introduzione di cani e gatti nel territorio nazionale.
