A seguito della conferma di una nuova positività per Lpai H5 in un allevamento di svezzamento della Regione Lombardia (dopo i due focalai nel Bresciano uno nel Mantovano confermato il 18 settembre), l’Unità di progetto veterinaria comunica che a partire da lunedì 24 settembre è vietato lo svolgimento su tutto il territorio della Regione Veneto di fiere, mostre e mercati avicoli. Questa disposizione non si applica alle manifestazioni dedicate agli uccelli ornamentali e rimarrà in vigore fino alla comunicazione dei risultati degli ulteriori monitoraggi e delle indagini epidemiologiche in atto. La nota, a firma del dirigente dell’Unità di progetto, Giorgio Cester, è indirizzata a tutte le Asl, alla filiera avicola, ai responsabili dei servizi veterinari delle Regioni Lombardia, Emilia Romagna e Piemonte, e per conoscenza al Ministero della Salute e alla direzione sanitaria dell’IzsVe.
