Una rete attorno al percorso di gioco del Golf club Colli Berici per assicurare la sicurezza dei giocatori e degli impianti sportivi contro la sempre più massiccia presenza di cinghiali. È questo l’esito della discussione del punto all’ordine del giorno dell’ultima riunione di Consiglio comunale che riguardava la concessione ai gestori del Golf club colli Berici di poter delimitare l’area di gioco in modo da renderla sicura dalla presenza dei cinghiali.
Ne ha parlato l’assessore all’urbanistica e vice sindaco Bruno Beltrame, spiegando sia la natura urbanistica dell’area, sia la richiesta che era giunta dei gestori dell’impianto sportivo. Quest’ultima nasce dall’esigenza di tutelare i giocatori a causa dell’aumento considerevole della popolazione di cinghiali che, probabilmente immessa illegalmente nella zona, negli ultimi due anni in particolare ha danneggiato in modo considerevole le strutture erbose dei campi da golf.
E questi animali, di dimensioni notevoli poiché sembrerebbero non essere selvatici ma frutto di incroci con maiali, tanto che raggiungono il quintale e mezzo di peso, sono pure stati avvistati mentre si muovevano nelle aree di gioco, con comprensibile preoccupazione di gestori e giocatori.
«I danni provocati (smuovono la terra sradicando il tappeto erboso alla ricerca di radici o sali) ammontano ormai ad una cifra che si attesta intorno ai 100mila euro – ha detto Beltrame -. L’area è classificata come F, ovvero area destinata a servizi, la stessa classificazione, ad esempio, dei campi da calcio che sono recitanti, e non ha nulla a che fare con le aree agricole, per questo i gestori hanno la possibilità di recintare la zona. Inoltre sono stati sentiti tutti gli organi competenti, dal nostro ufficio tecnico alla Commissione edilizia integrata alla Soprintendenza ai beni paesaggistici di Verona, e sono tutti favorevoli».
Beltrame ha quindi spiegato nel dettaglio l’intervento. «La rete metallica risponderà alle prescrizioni indicate dagli organi competenti, e cioè di maglia piuttosto larga (20 per 20 centimetri) in modo che la selvaggina possa passare; alta 120 centimetri in modo che i caprioli la possano saltare; infilata nel terreno e con paletti per sostenerla senza zoccolo in cemento. Ci saranno dei cancelli con molla per il ritorno nei punti dove la recinzione incontra i sentieri per permettere il passaggio».
«Questa recinzione comporterà per il Golf club un investimento di 100mila euro – ha concluso Beltrame – e per la realizzazione di questa recinzione i gestori provvederanno ad opere di pubblica utilità da eseguire nelle vie limitrofe alla zona, e cioè via Monti comunali e via Muraroni, per un importo di 40mila euro».
La direzione del Golf club vede questo progetto come l’istallazione di un impedimento e non come una recinzione, tant’è vero che non andrà a circondare la proprietà, ma solo il percorso di gioco, che è di circa 6 chilometri, e che la sicurezza è la motivazione di questo intervento.
«Conosco bene la problematica – è poi intervenuto il sindaco Ceron – perché sono andato a vedere i danni e perché la vivo ogni giorno a casa mia: ho contato 11 caprioli stamattina davanti la porta di ingresso. L’aumento di questi animali (sono dannosi anche i caprioli che specie in questo periodo si strofinano il palco contro i fusti dei giovani alberi decorticandoli e quindi poi muoiono) è un grosso problema. Sono necessari piani di abbattimento specifici. Nei 16 comuni della nostra zona ci hanno detto che si stimano 2mila e 500 caprioli e duecento cinghiali: sfido chiunque a dire che ce ne siano meno di settecento».
Alla fine del dibattito il punto in discussione è stato approvato all’unanimità.
