Corriere del Veneto. Il Veneto piange 191 vittime del Covid in 24 ore, dalle 8 di lunedì mattina alle 8 di ieri: il numero di decessi più alto dal 15 dicembre, quando se ne erano contati 165. Un record che assorbe i morti dei giorni scorsi, spiega la Regione, ma nel pomeriggio ne sono stati registrati altri 69 (e siamo a 260) e comunque già lunedì il bollettino ne segnalava 111. Sebbene i contagi scendano (ieri 2805,-79), resta un quadro a tinte fosche che ha attirato l’attenzione del ministero della Salute, pronto a prendere in mano la situazione, cambiando la classificazione di rischio del Veneto dall’attuale giallo, in vigore dal 4 novembre, all’arancione, se non addirittura al rosso, qualora i numeri dovessero peggiorare ancora.
A Roma sono piuttosto sconcertati dal mancato recepimento dei suggerimenti formulati dall’Istituto superiore di Sanità, che nell’ultimo dossier diffuso la vigilia di Natale oltre a dirsi «preoccupato» per il Veneto, «per la terza settimana consecutiva a rischio alto», lo «esortava nuovamente ad applicare con urgenza le misure previste per questo livello di rischio». Cioè zone rosse locali, un’ulteriore riduzione dell’orario di apertura di bar, ristoranti e pasticcerie, la limitazione della mobilità della popolazione nelle zone più colpite e l’incentivazione dello smart warking. Domani e il 4 gennaio l’Italia è arancione e fra il 31 dicembre e il 6 gennaio rossa, ma il 7 tornerà gialla. Se nei prossimi giorni il governatore Luca Zaia non adotterà provvedimenti più restrittivi, potrebbe farlo il governo, anche in base ai letti di Terapia intensiva «realmente attivati» dal Veneto. Secondo i documenti in possesso del ministero, la Regione ha comunicato «mille posti attivati e zero attivabili», quindi il calcolo della percentuale di occupazione è stato operato dall’Iss in base a questo numero. E risulta il 36% contro una media nazionale del 30%, il che ha portato alla zona di rischio gialla. Ma se il calcolo fosse stato fatto sui posti realmente operativi, cioè 698, spiegano i tecnici del ministero, la percentuale di occupazione avrebbe superato il 40%, inducendo una classificazione diversa. Almeno arancione, il che significa locali chiusi e divieto di spostamento tra Regioni.
E in effetti nella bozza del decreto Conte dell’11 novembre scorso il Veneto era stato classificato arancione, insieme a Campania, Liguria, Puglia e Sicilia, ma poi la comunicazione dei mille letti «attivati» in Terapia intensiva ha cambiato le cose. «La Regione ha inviato al governo un piano che prevede mille posti letto di Terapia intensiva — replica Luciano Flor, direttore generale della Sanità — e sono pronto ad accompagnare chi non ci crede negli ospedali, a vedere che le postazioni ci sono fisicamente e non sulla carta, con relativi monitor e respiratori. In questo momento ne stiamo utilizzando 698, 395 per pazienti Covid: se fossero occupate tutte e mille vorrebbe dire avere seimila malati di coronavirus, 750 in Rianimazione. La quota aggiuntiva necessaria ad arrivare ai mille letti si ricava dai posti di Sub-intensiva e dalla conversione delle 110 sale operatorie, ognuna delle quali può ospitare due postazioni. Aprirle tutte significherebbe bloccare l’attività chirurgica, fatte salve le urgenze, e mandare il sistema al collasso. Non siamo a questo punto». Resta da capire perché allora nel piano inviato al ministero non ci sia scritto «700 letti attivati e 300 attivabili», invece di «mille attivati». «Il piano è pubblico, tutti possono vederlo — insiste Flor —. Quanto a potenziali nuovi provvedimenti, vedremo come saremo messi il 6 gennaio: se ci saranno le condizioni per entrare nella zona di rischio arancione, accetteremo la nuova classificazione. E se emergeranno situazioni straordinarie di nicchia, valuteremo misure ad hoc, ma ad oggi l’incidenza del virus è diffusa in tutta la Regione, non ci sono territori bisognosi di interventi più restrittivi».
Sul record dei morti, l’assessore alla Sanità, Manuela Lanzarin, dice: «Non bisogna guardare il dato di un singolo giorno, ma l’andamento generale e l’indice di mortalità in Veneto (2,5% sul totale infetti, ndr ) è in linea con il resto del Nord Italia, il più colpito dall’epidemia. Ricordo inoltre che noi eseguiamo il più alto numero di tamponi, sono già 3.258.961 molecolari e 1.792.463 rapidi, che però non vengono calcolati. Aspettiamo la circolare dal ministero che finalmente li inserirà nel totale e allora la percentuale di positivi in Veneto si abbasserà tra 5% e 8%». Potrebbe essere ulteriormente ridotta dalla cancellazione dello «spreco del test molecolare di conferma della positività sancita dal rapido», invocata dalla Regione.
Oggi intanto, dopo l’esordio di domenica, riprende la vaccinazione anti-Covid, con 38mila dosi a settimana inviate da Roma. «Una briciola per 7 province — chiude Flor — che però entro fine gennaio ci consentirà di immunizzare 186.225 tra sanitari, operatori e ospiti delle Rsa. Assumeranno il richiamo il 18 gennaio».
