Il pescatore, di nazionalità cinese, era senza documenti: arrivati alla sua abitazione gli agenti hanno sentito il tanfo
UDINE – Mezza tonnellata di meduse per un pescatore sportivo “abusivo”: la guardia costiera gli ha sequestrato ben 530 chilogrammi di meduse. Si tratta di un immigrato di nazionalità cinese pizzicato sulla battigia a Lignano Sabbiadoro (Udine). L’uomo è stato visto raccogliere meduse lungo la battigia, equipaggiato di stivali e guanti. In sacchi di plastica ne aveva già ammassati circa 200 chili in completa violazione, spiega la guardia costiera, delle disposizioni che prevedono la raccolta di un massimo di 5 chili di prodotto.
All’uomo, considerato un pescatore sportivo, è stato pertanto contestato l’illecito e la relativa sanzione di circa mille euro. Il cinese era però sprovvisto di documenti di identità e il personale della guardia costiera lo ha così seguito nel suo domicilio. Nell’abitazione, aleggiava un forte odore proveniente dal magazzino, dove erano in effetti ammucchiati 16 vasi di pittura da 25 litri ciascuno contenenti altri 320 chilogrammi di meduse, conservate in condizioni igieniche discutibili. La guardia costiera ha allertato il Nas e di carabinieri di Udine. Il pescato è sotto sequestro sanitario e sarà distrutto da una ditta specializzata di Cordenons a spese del pescatore.
