S’alza l’asticella. Rispetto al 2014: 300 cavalli in più (in tutto 3mila esemplari di 60 razze), 750 aziende a rappresentare i migliori marchi per allevamento ed equitazione (+ 15% rispetto all’anno scorso) e spazio ulteriore all’equiturismo con la prima guida «Italia a cavallo» nata dalla collaborazione col Touring Club Italiano. È il biglietto da visita della 117esima Fieracavalli, in programma alla Fiera di Verona dal 5 all’8 novembre prossimo e presentata ieri a Milano proprio nella sede del Touring Club.
È il salone che apre la finestra sul panorama equestre mondiale, media di oltre 160mila visitatori da 80 paesi. «Fieracavalli dà voce a un settore che in Italia conta un milione e mezzo di appassionati», parola di Ettore Riello, presidente di Veronafiere: «Per quest’edizione abbiamo scelto di sostenerlo puntando maggiormente sul binomio turismo e sport, strumenti di promozione per l’intero comparto equestre che in tutta Europa conta 49 milioni di potenziali utenti e amatori». In Italia, equiturismo vuol dire oltre 7mila chilometri di tracciati percorribili, almeno 120mila appassionati e 4.500 agriturismi coinvolti. È da lì che nasce l’idea della guida, «Italia a cavallo», che sarà presentata in anteprima nel primo giorno della rassegna, nello stand Touring Club al padiglione 4. E poi, ovviamente, c’è lo sport. Come conferma Giovanni Mantovani, dg di Veronafiere, «abbiamo investito molto in quest’ambito per portare a Verona i campioni internazionali della Coppa del Mondo di salto ostacoli del circuito Fei e le giovani promesse». Ecco, allora, l’allestimento di tre padiglioni dedicati, con 5 ring di gara (per la prima volta si potrà assistere alle competizioni fino alle 22) pari a 30mila metri quadrati di piste e tribune per 5mila posti a sedere (1.000 in più rispetto al 2014). «Oltre alla 15a edizione della Longines Fei World Cup – annunciano da Veronafiere – il programma sportivo di quest’anno comprende le novità del Concorso Ippico Internazionale Due Stelle e del Fixdesign Master Tours, che si sommano al 28° Concorso Nazionale Pony, alla finale del Progetto Giovani del circuito Fise e alla 40a edizione della Coppa delle Regioni Under 21». E c’è anche la guest star d’eccezione: parliamo dell’amazzone Sylvie Willms, protagonista del Gala d’Oro «Ladies» in programma sabato 7 e domenica 8 novembre.
