Disoccupazione giovanile da record in Italia nel secondo trimestre del 2012. Il tasso di disoccupazione dei 15-24enni è infatti salito, nel secondo trimestre 2012, al 33,9%, dal 27,4% dallo stesso periodo 2011. Lo rilevano gli ultimi dati trimestrali diffusi dall’Istat (dati grezzi), che sottolinea come il dato costituisca il tasso più alto, in base a confronti tendenziali, dal secondo trimestre del 1993, inizio delle serie storiche.
Allarme giovani
Nel complesso, il tasso di disoccupazione italiano (dati grezzi) ha toccato il 10,5%, in crescita di 2,7 punti percentuali rispetto all’anno precedente; si tratta del livello più elevato dal secondo trimestre del 1999, quando il dato aveva toccato il picco dell’11,2 per cento. In particolare, secondo i dati diffusi dall’Istat, l’allarme riguarda i giovani italiani: «La dinamica della disoccupazione – spiegano i tecnici dell’Istat – continua ad essere in crescita, i ritmi di crescita della disoccupazione sono in aumento dagli ultimi mesi del 2011».
Conferma sui dati mensili
Ad ulteriore conferma, la rilevazione mensile di luglio 2012 diffusa sempre oggi dall’istituto di statistica, secondo cui il tasso di disoccupazione dei 15-24enni, ovvero l’incidenza dei disoccupati sul totale degli attivi, è pari al 35,3%, in aumento di 1,3 punti percentuali rispetto a giugno e di 7,4 punti nei dodici mesi. Tra i 15-24enni le persone in cerca di lavoro sono 618 mila e rappresentano il 10,2% della popolazione in questa fascia d’età.
Lavoro precario da record
Da record anche il numero di lavoratori precari registrati nel secondo trimestre del 2012. I contratti a termine sono, infatti, quasi 2,5 milioni (2,455): si tratta del livello più alto dal secondo trimestre del 1993 sia in valore assoluto, sia per l’incidenza sul totale degli occupati che ha toccato il picco del 10,7%. Sommando i collaboratori al numero dei contratti a termine si arriva, poi, alla cifra record, di 3 milioni di precari. Il numero dei dipendenti a termine, dunque, continua a crescere (+4,5% pari a 105mila unità), ma esclusivamente nelle posizioni a tempo parziale, coinvolgendo per circa i due terzi lavoratori di età inferiore a 35 anni. La crescita del lavoro precario interessa soprattutto l’agricoltura, alberghi e ristoranti e la sanità.
