Passo indietro dell’Unione europea sulla tracciabilita’ delle carni. La plenaria del Parlamento europeo ha dato un sostanziale via libera alla proposta della Commissione europea che rinvia di almeno cinque anni l’obbligatorieta’ del chip per i bovini.
Inoltre, per ridurre i costi amministrativi attuali, ha modificato lo schema attuale di etichettatura volontaria delle carni che prevedeva un controllo preventivo da parte di Bruxelles. Proteste da parte di italiani e spagnoli.
