“La Regione porti il fascicolo Pfas in Procura”, questo l’invito che il consigliere regionale del Pd, Andrea Zanoni, rivolge alla Giunta con un’interrogazione presentata il 26 febbraio. Secondo quanto riportato ieri dal “Fatto Quotidiano”, – scrive l’esponente democratico – la Direzione Tutela Ambiente della Regione del Veneto considererebbe “non sotto controllo” la situazione relativa alla contaminazione da sostanze perfluoroalchiliche in un’area tra le province di Verona, Padova e Vicenza. Nel corso del tavolo tecnico regionale sui Pfas, tenutosi lo scorso 13 gennaio, sarebbe emerso che “parte della popolazione veneta è stata esposta ed è esposta ai Pfas” e che “non è stato dato seguito ad azioni di tutela della salute per le persone che hanno mangiato e stanno mangiando alimenti con concentrazioni critiche”, quali uova e pesci. Anche i protocolli finora utilizzati per il controllo degli alimenti contaminati “vanno reimpostati ex novo”, in base alla richiesta dell’Arpav, in quanto “non c’è un piano di controllo sugli alimenti valido e utilizzabile”.
“Ho chiesto ripetutamente, senza alcun esito – ricorda Zanoni – informazioni in merito al documento dell’Istituto Superiore di Sanità (ISS), che contiene le valutazioni sui risultati dei campionamenti effettuati sulla catena alimentare. Analoga richiesta, anch’essa inevasa, riguarda lo studio dell’ISS sugli esami del sangue cui è stata sottoposta la popolazione residente”.
“Considerati i gravi rischi per la salute della popolazione, è necessario fare quanto prima piena luce su questa grave vicenda. Invito perciò la Giunta regionale – conclude Zanoni – ad adottare urgenti provvedimenti per la tutela dei cittadini e a trasmettere alla Magistratura tutta la documentazione in suo possesso, affinché valuti se si configurino gli estremi di reato, partendo dal principio europeo: “Chi inquina paga”.
In particolare l’interrogazione chiede alla Giunta regionale
– se quanto riportato dal succitato articolo corrisponde al vero e cosa ha fatto la Regione affinché, dopo l’effettuazione delle analisi, la popolazione evitasse di assumesse alimenti con concentrazioni critiche di Pfas;
– se l’Istituto Superiore di Sanità ha definito il documento con le valutazioni dei risultati emersi dai campionamenti effettuati sulle matrici alimentari,
– se è già stato trasmesso alla Regione e quali misure prevede per la tutela della salute delle popolazioni locali e limitrofe che si alimentano con i prodotti contaminati da Pfas;
– se l’Istituto Superiore di Sanità ha concluso lo studio sugli esami ematici effettuati sulla popolazione residente e quali concentrazioni di Pfas sono stati rilevati;
– quali azioni intende intraprendere per tutelare la salute dei cittadini che si alimentano di prodotti contaminati da Pfas e l’immagine del settore agroalimentare regionale e dei dirigenti regionali incaricati a gestire questa emergenza;
– di trasmettere alla Magistratura il fascicolo relativo alla contaminazione delle acque, della catena alimentare e della popolazione per valutare se su questa grave vicenda si configurino ipotesi di reato.
