Il consigliere Cesare Campa ha invitato un funzionario del ministero, la moglie e due familiari: «Ospitalità doverosa»
VENEZIA – Erano andati a Torcello per una “colazione di lavoro”: il consigliere comunale ed ex deputato, Cesare Campa, che nella sua veste di presidente della commissione Città metropolitana, faceva gli onori di casa; il capo dipartimento del ministero delle Riforme istituzionali, Carlo Diodato, con la moglie e altri due familiari. L’uscita in laguna risale al novembre scorso e adesso il Comune ha saldato il conto: 480 euro, comprensivi del passaggio in motoscafo e del pranzo all’osteria “Al ponte del diavolo” di proprietà del nipote dello stesso Campa.
La determina di spesa risale al 31 dicembre scorso, sotto la voce “manifestazioni e cerimonie su attività istituzionali promosse dalla Presidenza del consiglio comunale”. E non poteva non balzare agli occhi, in questi tempi di vacche magre, con i costi della politica nel mirino. «Non ci trovo nulla di peccaminoso – ribatte il presidente del Consiglio comunale, Roberto Turetta – Tutto rientra in quel minimo di ospitalità che si dà quando si ha a che fare con istituzioni del genere. Con tutte le spese di rappresentanza che ci sono in giro, mi sembra un rimborso risibile».
Turetta spiega di non aver potuto partecipare a quella colazione di lavoro perché aveva altri impegni, ma difende a tutto campo il presidente della commissione. «É sempre molto attento sui costi. Riduce al minimo le commissioni proprio per non far spendere i gettoni di presenza». Con gli uffici chiusi, ieri Cesare Campa non era in grado di ricostruire al dettaglio l’uscita. «Mi pare fossimo in cinque. Io, il capo dipartimento, con la moglie e due familiari. Essendo a Venezia, ho ritenuto giusto offrirgli questa ospitalità per ringraziarlo dell’assistenza che ci aveva dato per organizzare a Venezia ben sei seminari a costo zero. La commissione non ha avuto altre spese. Non ho il telefonino e le 5 volte che ho partecipato ai coordinamenti nazionali, non ho chiesto rimborsi». Quanto alla scelta del locale, «ho chiesto un aiuto a mio nipote, che tra l’altro non credo gestisca più il locale. L’ho fatto anche per il trasporto perchè quel giorno non c’erano motoscafi del Comune disponibili. Così il ristorante ci ha fatto un prezzo comprensivo del trasporto».
