Open. Una possibilità che non è applicabile ai soggetti con condizioni di immunodeficienza. Il documento è modificabile qualora dovessero diffondersi varianti connotate da un particolare rischio di reinfezione
Ora è ufficiale. Il ministero della Salute ha accolto il parere dell’Agenzia italiana del farmaco e del Consiglio superiore di sanità e ha dato il via libera alla dose unica di vaccino contro il Coronavirus per chi ha già avuto il Covid. Il siero – chiarisce la circolare firmata dal direttore della Prevenzione Gianni Rezza – dovrà essere iniettato in chi è già guarito almeno tre mesi dopo l’infezione ed entro sei mesi. Per l’esattezza, «la somministrazione di un’unica dose di vaccino anti-SARSCoV-2/COVID-19 nei soggetti con pregressa infezione da SARS-CoV-2 – si legge nella circolare – è possibile purché la vaccinazione venga eseguita ad almeno 3 mesi di distanza dalla documentata infezione e preferibilmente entro i 6 mesi dalla stessa».
Una possibilità che però – va sottolineato – non potrà essere applicata ai soggetti che presentano immunodeficienze. In particolare, il documento sottolinea che la scelta della dose unica di vaccino «non è da intendersi applicabile ai soggetti che presentino condizioni di immunodeficienza, primitiva o secondaria a trattamenti farmacologici». Il ministero raccomanda per loro la normale prassi vaccinale proposta, vale a dire la doppia dose per tutti i sieri anti-Covid disponibili ad oggi. Questo perché nei soggetti in questione – sottolinea la circolare – non è «prevedibile la protezione immunologica conferita dall’infezione da SARS-CoV-2 e la durata della stessa».
